Meet Iris Garcia
My journey in healthcare began working as a patient care coordinator in a plastic surgeon's office where I got to listen to the reasons and motives of peoples journey threw electing for different procedures and at times the roadblock of not having a family member or friends that will be able to provide the help that is needed after a surgery, or simply wanting to keep it private. I was lucky in having the proper training and understanding of various procedures and as a CNA the medical knowledge of how to provide the proper care. I developed a deep-seated desire to make a difference in people's lives during a critical phase. Over the years, I've honed my skills, gained invaluable experience, and, most importantly, developed a profound empathy for those navigating the complexities of post-operative recovery.
